Southern Comfort 4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 10) Welcome to Southern Comfort! Our cabin is lakefront year-round with wonderful lake and mountain viewsand a seasonal dock available from mid-April to the first of October.

This home is great for family reunions and large gatherings as it boasts a large level yard with lots of sitting areas, full kitchen with patio doors leading to the large deck overlooking the lake. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and a very open floor plan (hardwood floors at that) for lots of room. There is a large wraparound deck on the back, a covered porch at the front and rockers and a swing. On the lower level of the home is a brick layer patio, all new landscaping, new bedding in the home and new outdoor lighting.

There is a game room in a separate building from the house with a pool table, foosball table, checkerboard table and a small sitting area with TV. Our seasonal dock is great for swimming and fishing as well as a newly installed swim ladder. There is also a great paddle boat for use in the cove. A huge lighted pavilion next to the house makes it perfect for late night cookouts and socializing. It has 2 picnic tables; 1 seating 6 people and the other seats as many or more. Old Home Place is a very special 200+ year old authentic log cabin in a wooded setting on Douglas Lake. Several years ago, this home was dismantled and then rebuilt at the lake using its original logs; those used to build it in historic Cades Cove back in the 1800s. The logs still retain the carvings of long ago and have become a conversation piece for our guests. Recent remodeling has improved its character: including a new metal roof, all new thermal pane windows, complete new kitchen, and wood laminate floors throughout the home. Old Home Place is nestled on two wooded lots with lots of hardwood trees with very easy access for young and old alike to the lake. If one of your destinations is the Pigeon Forge/Smoky Mountains, don't fret we are located just 8 minutes down a highway street along the main route into and out of the Pigeon Forge/Great Smoky Mountains area. We are just far enough out of the way to get out of all the hustle-n-bustle and relax from a long day, but not too far to jump back in it all the next day. On a min-mod traffic day or evening you can expect a 30 min or so drive to Pigeon Forge. Although, traffic can sometimes hinder your path increasing it to 45 min or more if there is a special event or a lot of visitors in town. On these days using Waze or Google directions is suggested, as the locals know taking a back road will save you time around here. So, if you are the type who is looking for a real vacation with good mix of relaxation and fun action packed things to get into then our place is the place for you! Anything else? Our property is located on the lake's main channel, meaning we have water year round!! Easily accessible Spring to Fall and water views all throughout the year (Douglas Lake is a 33,000 acre reservoir lake, water levels are controlled by mother nature and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). The lake water amount does begin to decrease in the autumn around Labor Day and is at its lowest in mid-winter. Depending on rainfall, the lake increases to standard full capacity around April-May and does fill up to our bank shoreline, providing easy and direct lake access). If booking in fall/winter please inquire as to the water level. The dock is always accessible as are the stairs to the lakebed, but the water level will be well below the dock in late fall and winter. Before reserving, please read and accept all terms of the rental agreement contract attached. Ensure to disclose all persons who will be guest at our home, their relation to you and their ages. This campsite is secluded on a gravel road, many miles off the highway, but is close enough for daily excursions to Dollywood, Gatlinburg, or the Great Smoky Mountains national park. This campsite is surrounded on 3 sides by water, with the land border being fenced and gated. The Space: Lakeside campsite at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains! Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! This home is great for family reunions and large gatherings as it boasts a large level yard with lots of sitting areas, full kitchen with patio doors leading to the large deck overlooking the lake. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and a very open floor plan (hardwood floors at that) for lots of room. There is a large wraparound deck on the back, a covered porch at the front and rockers and a swing. On the lower level of the home is a brick layer patio, all new landscaping, new bedding in the home and new outdoor lighting.

There is a game room in a separate building from the house with a pool table, foosball table, checkerboard table and a small sitting area with TV. Our seasonal dock is great for swimming and fishing as well as a newly installed swim ladder. There is also a great paddle boat for use in the cove. A huge lighted pavilion next to the house makes it perfect for late night cookouts and socializing. It has 2 picnic tables; 1 seating 6 people and the other seats as many or more. It has 2 swings, a rocker, a bar area with 2 chairs, gas grill and a smoker/charcoal grill. All of this overlooks the lake.

Hill Top Retreat sits high upon a nearly 2-acre lot, offering fantastic views of the Smokey Mountains and a quiet cove on the southern end of Douglas Lake. Enjoy a peaceful sunrise with a cup of coffee on the large deck or in the high end therapeutic hot tub overlooking the lake valley. Enjoy a relaxing steam in the sauna. Take a short walk down to the lake and enjoy fishing from the dock, or swim in the quiet cove. There are a handful of marinas on the lake where you can launch your boat or rent a boat, pontoon, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, tubes, etc. Please be aware, Douglas Lake is a Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) regulated reservoir. Water levels in the reservoir fluctuate an average of 41' over the course of a year. The dock at Hill Top Retreat is usually floating from the 1st week of May until about the 3rd week of August. Therefore, docking a boat at the dock is not an option when the water level falls. The dock is located down the hill from the house. There are steps going down to the street, and then a paved road across the street leading down to the water. You can also watch included internet TV on a huge 50” flat screen or pick a movie from many provided DVDs. High speed WiFi is included. The main floor master is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, walk in shower and large jetted tub. The third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed with trundle for the kids. The fully equipped kitchen has all the cookware and utensils you will need to cook gourmet meals including a side by side refrigerator/freezer and microwave above the electric stove/oven or you can even bring your charcoal for the charcoal grill on the back patio. This is a luxury log home that boasts 2 snugly jetted tubs in two of our king master suites and a romantic hot tub on the large screened porch overlooking beautiful Douglas Lake. As you enter our home your attention is drawn to a cozy stackstone fireplace for those cold wintery Tennessee nights and a satellite TV. On the main floor you have 1 king master suite with the jetted tub for soaking away the day. This main suite has a door going out onto the large screened porch where your large hot tub awaits. The complete kitchen on the main floor has everything you need to make yourself at home complete with cookware, dishwasher, microwave, stain less steel side by side refrigerator with ice maker, and water dispenser, wine cooler and a food disposal. The home has beautiful solid oak cabinetry throughout. The dining room table overlooks the lake and has seating for 6. The bar has 2 bar stools also for seating. The large screen porch on the back of the main floor has a large hot tub for relaxing, a gas grill ( tank provided, if empties you fill ) and patio table and 6 chairs and rocking chairs. The side porch off the dining area has a large hammock to enjoy on those early mornings with a nice hot cup of coffee and those late evening sunsets. There is lots of windows on this level to enjoy those lake views. The downstairs level has a 3rd king master suite complete with a jetted tub. Out the french doors from this suite is a private entrance to the large covered porch overlooking Douglas Lake. On this level is also another den/game room. It has a pool table, an indoor basketball net. Complete this den with a leather sleeper sofa and chairs. There is also a small table top for 2, a refrigerator, microwave and sink for your enjoyment without having to go back to the main kitchen. From the den/game room you can again access the very large covered porch overlooking the lake. The side porch here also has a large hammock for relaxing and again those amazing sunsets over beautiful Douglas Lake. This home sits kind of high on a knoll, this is what will give you those fabulous, unmatched views that only ” Our Cabin ” can offer. However that also means you have a bit of a walk to the lake. The cabin is very secluded and private. The home sits up high on the hill for maximum views of Douglas Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains. When you arrive at the home, you will be greeted by a very beautiful, comfortable covered front porch with rockers, chairs and a swing; as well as hand-carved wooden accents of animals and such incorporated into the woodwork of the log home itself. You will also notice some of these carvings located throughout the home. This sets the mood for the cabin before you ever go in! Upon entering the home, the first thing that will catch your eye is the large stack stone fireplace located in the living room. Wow! Talk about beautiful with a cozy fire! The den has plenty of seating and the couch makes a Queen sleeper. The large kitchen table seats 8 and there are 4 bar stools at the kitchen bar. The kitchen is well appointed with all you need to prepare a wonderful meal and cleanup afterwards is a breeze with the dishwasher. The large den, dining room and kitchen are all in an open and airy floor plan that brings the whole family together whether preparing a meal, eating or just watching TV. Everyone can be together!

There are 2 King bedrooms on the main floor; 1 of which is a Master suite complete with a Jacuzzi tub, private bath and doors leading to the screened deck and large 6 person hot tub. Robert’s Retreat is a one of a kind home. Both the interior and the screened porch feature tongue and groove hardwood floors. When you walk into the home, the main floor is an open living space with an “Ohhhh, so comfortable!” feel around you. Center front is a wood-burning fireplace with a surrounding seating area. The beautiful kitchen and dining areas are included in the open design so you are never away from your family and friends. The kitchen has a gas stove, side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, cookware and dining utensils. Step out the back door and you’ll be surprised with a screened-in porch. This room is also tongue and groove with a large wood-burning fireplace on the interior wall with rocking chairs in front to enjoy any of those cool seasonal nights. The highlight of the porch is a queen-sized swinging bed that the owner designed themselves. What a great place to curl up and read a good book! Keep in mind, in the Summer this room may be a little warm but does have two large ceiling fans. The area is wooded so you will not have direct sunlight here. During the colder months, the screened-in porch can be heated by the wood fireplace only. The coldest months are not ideal for six people. You also have an additional eating area seating for four overlooking the lake. Raise the shades for beautiful views or keep them closed for more privacy. This is truly a one-of-a-kind home, especially with our multi-use screen porch! Now to the main sleeping area – proceed up gorgeous steps and across a catwalk to the awe-inspiring loft queen bedroom. This open space is perfect for families to be together but still have privacy. Two couples can enjoy their private space in the loft bedroom, the screen porch or, the main room. Outside, there is a covered porch with seating area facing the lake. There is a firepit area located on the side of this porch. Off the kitchen there is also a covered porch featuring a gas grill. There is access to a dock for your boat – large enough for sunning or relaxing with a fishing rod. Access to this home is by way of the owners’ driveway. Once you arrive, you will feel secluded as you are surrounded by the lake and woods. Little Fishing Bear 1 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, (Sleeps 5) A fun, fishing bear waits to say Hi! to you at this little cabin right on the lake at Douglas Lake. Little Fishing Bear is a one bedroom, one bathroom cabin that is best suited for lake-loving couples or small families who want a relaxing place to stay while doing some fishing or boating. The main living area is located on the second floor of the house over the garage (for owners use only) and is accessed by an entry door facing the lake. It is a cozy, one room open area with TV and DVR, comfortable seating, and a porch facing the lake with gorgeous panoramic views of the lake. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need and there is also free internet access. The bedroom is the other main room of the cabin and it features both full-sized and queen-sized beds; a futon in the main area might be used for a small child. The bathroom has a 4 foot shower. Outside, to go to the lakes edge, walk down a gravel path or use the paved drive to access steps to the lake. The shared dock has plenty of room for any watercraft you may want to bring or rent. You are invited to use a fire pit and gazebo at the neighboring house (which is owned by Little Fishing Bears owners) for picnics, making smores, watching sunsets, or just hanging out. This cabin is located near Marker D on Muddy Creek and there is a community boat ramp for your use. Be sure to visit Bush Beans Museum and Cafe or Forbidden Caverns while you are here. Old Home Place is a very special 200+ year old authentic log cabin in a wooded setting on Douglas Lake. Several years ago, this home was dismantled and then rebuilt at the lake using its original logs; those used to build it in historic Cades Cove back in the 1800s. The logs still retain the carvings of long ago and have become a conversation piece for our guests. Recent remodeling has improved its character: including a new metal roof, all new thermal pane windows, complete new kitchen, and wood laminate floors throughout the home. Old Home Place is nestled on two wooded lots with lots of hardwood trees with very easy access for young and old alike to the lake. Imagine the Wintery months here with the historic log home, a romantic fireplace to snuggle next to and a steamy hot tub to relax in. Just the perfect setting for a romantic weekend away with that special someone. In the large front yard you have a swing hanging from a tree, a firepit with cedar benches, a horse shoe pit and corn hole boards to play which gives you lots to do when your not in the lake. here is a Pack’N’Play there if you have a little one – it will help with not having to bring one. A perfect Smoky Mountain setting! The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and a day with with a trundle. You can pull the trundle out if you like and have 4 separate beds The large covered back porch has a hot tub, dining table and chairs and a very comfortable porch swing to enjoy all while overlooking the lake. the covered front porch has rocking chairs to sit and relax and enjoy the woods and occasionally a deer may walk through. There is a garage by the house that has a pool table so the kids, young or old , can play and have lots of fun yet not bother the others in the home who would enjoy some calmer time. There is a firepit in the large front yard. You can always pick up lots of wood laying around in the woods for this. The driveway is a large circular one so you can just drive right in and out with your boat without having to back up.
